Planning is the party. As the #1 app for both iOS and Android, The Knot (The Knot Worldwide) is the ultimate wedding vendor marketplace.

Our work focused on crafting a vision for the expressive hosts of today: ones that find “Magic in the Mayhem.”

Together, we embarked on a mission to celebrate a diverse audience, shining a light on every kind of couple and celebrating the entire spectrum of love. We built a comprehensive new brand with language that celebrates and supports planners throughout the joy—(and the not-so-joy) a sentiment that underpins the company’s commitment to commitment. No matter how it shows up.

The graphic system relies on a variable confetti motif while the new wordmark offers a bold and modern take on the former knotted letterforms.

Color-wise, adding a new and powerful ‘Party Pink’ was a very deliberate decision—a move away from the soft, quieter wedding brand of old. It’s here to say ‘Let’s have a damn good time celebrating all that work we put into planning.’

We partnered with the amazingly talented Sol Cotti to create a unique set of illustrations to be used throughout the product as well as larger campaigns.
